ELD started with a feeling

I’ve been working in fashion since I was 19, when I opened my first store. What followed were years of building brands, running stores and webshops, and working with hundreds of people – always surrounded by fashion, business and creativity.

Eventually, I sold everything. It was time to step back and live a little more.

Finding inspiration around the world

I travelled across Europe, Asia, South America and the US. Along the way, I met incredible people, discovered new places and styles, surfed, and collected inspiration. I loved every moment of it.

But it wasn’t long before I realised how much I missed creating.

Somewhere between all those places, people and impressions, the idea of ELD began to take shape.

Pieces with presence

I wanted to create pieces with presence.

Bold. Visible. Happy. Statement objects with that "Damn, where did you get that?" feeling. Pieces that can transform even the simplest look. Pieces with personality. Nothing too careful. Nothing to apologise for.

Maybe getting older made that vision even clearer. I still love strong, unexpected styles—and I still never quite know, the night before, who I’ll want to be tomorrow.

That’s the beauty of it.
